Bill Silva
Partner
Bill Silva is a graduate of Taylor University (1996), where he played collegiate football before being drafted by the New England Patriots. He went on to play several seasons of arena football before shifting his focus to business ownership.
In 2001, he founded Groundsmaster Landscape and later expanded into Liquid Pools, combining his passion for design with years of hands-on experience in creating outdoor living spaces. With more than 25 years of expertise in landscape, outdoor living, and custom swimming pool design, he has built a reputation for crafting spaces that are as functional as they are beautiful.
He takes pride in designing outdoor environments that are completely unique—never relying on templates or repeating designs. Every pool and landscape project is thoughtfully tailored to the property and the client’s lifestyle, ensuring the space not only looks exceptional but also works seamlessly for their needs.
Originally from the Midwest, he has called South Carolina home since 1996. He and his wife, Julie, have raised their three daughters here and continue to be deeply rooted in the community.

Cindy Yepez
Director of Operations
Cindy graduated from Bob Jones University in 2023 with a degree in Business Administration. Originally from Washington, D.C., she grew up in Northern Virginia before moving south for college and choosing to make it home after graduation.
As Director of Operations, she is known for her organization, attention to detail, and drive to keep learning through new opportunities. Outside of work, she enjoys exploring the outdoors, trying new restaurants and coffee shops, and spending time with her three-year-old cat—though she’s a dog lover at heart.

Alex Ryan
Project Manager
Alex Ryan, originally from the Dominican Republic, has lived in the United States since 1997—first in New York City and now in the South, which he has called home for nearly two decades.
A proud father of six, he brings resilience, adaptability, and a strong community-minded spirit shaped by family life and unique experiences, including four years participating in high-performance driving events (HPDE). As Project Manager, he values growth, collaboration, and tackling new challenges with energy and focus.
FAQs
Remember, it’s not just a pool you want—it’s the experience you’re trying to create!
Thorough, detailed designs also allow for true apples-to-apples comparisons between contractors who are bidding on the same plans. Detailed plans make the entire job run smoother and faster because decisions have already been made in advance. Since multiple trades are involved in building a backyard, having plans in place allows each contractor to bid accurately and schedule their work accordingly—keeping your project moving and helping you stay on budget.
We help you with more than just choosing a pool shape or deciding where it should go. Our goal is to figure out the best way to incorporate every element on your outdoor living wish list.
Most pool companies are focused solely on selling you a pool and leave the rest for you to figure out. Too often, people rush into building a pool, only to realize afterward that they can’t add other features without tearing up what’s already been built—or that it’s become too costly to make changes. Hardscapes should be thoughtfully planned, because realistically, you’re not going to want to change them later.
Weather also plays a significant role. Rain needs no explanation, but both cold and extreme heat can impact when concrete, tile, plaster, and masonry can be properly installed.
