FAQs

Design should be considered the most important part of the construction process. There’s far more to think about than just the shape and color of the pool. The surrounding areas—like lounge chairs, firepits, seating, dining, and play areas—are equally important and require specific space planning to function properly.

Remember, it’s not just a pool you want—it’s the experience you’re trying to create!

Thorough, detailed designs also allow for true apples-to-apples comparisons between contractors who are bidding on the same plans. Detailed plans make the entire job run smoother and faster because decisions have already been made in advance. Since multiple trades are involved in building a backyard, having plans in place allows each contractor to bid accurately and schedule their work accordingly—keeping your project moving and helping you stay on budget.
Yes. Since our designs are 100% unique, we charge for our expertise and guidance in helping you unlock the full potential of your space. The best projects are carefully planned and require time, creativity, and thoughtful design.

We help you with more than just choosing a pool shape or deciding where it should go. Our goal is to figure out the best way to incorporate every element on your outdoor living wish list.

Most pool companies are focused solely on selling you a pool and leave the rest for you to figure out. Too often, people rush into building a pool, only to realize afterward that they can’t add other features without tearing up what’s already been built—or that it’s become too costly to make changes. Hardscapes should be thoughtfully planned, because realistically, you’re not going to want to change them later.
It depends on the site and the features a client wants to include. Simple layouts can take just a few days, while more detailed designs may take a few weeks.
The time required to build a pool depends largely on the features planned outside of the pool itself. The pool portion typically takes about two months. However, if additional elements like firepits, pergolas, pool houses, water features, or landscaping are included, the timeline will be extended.

Weather also plays a significant role. Rain needs no explanation, but both cold and extreme heat can impact when concrete, tile, plaster, and masonry can be properly installed.
We build fully custom Shotcrete/Gunite pools. Each of our pools is equipped with a fully automated equipment package, allowing you to control all features directly from your smartphone—anywhere in the world.
A small, standalone Shotcrete hot tub typically starts around $60K. Pools start around $100K and go up from there. The final cost depends on factors such as decking, spas, water features, landscaping, fencing, and the materials you choose.
